Lorain High Fall Sports Information

The Lorain High Fall sports season is scheduled to officially start this upcoming week.  The first official day/time for each sport is as follows: Volleyball – Saturday, August 1, 9:00am-2:00pm in the Lorain High gym. LHS Volleyball vs. Maple Hts rescheduled for Monday, Oct 14

Yesterday’s Lorain High volleyball tripleheader against Maple Hts has been rescheduled for this Monday, Oct 14.  The freshmen match will start at 4:30 followed by the JV and varsity.  This is also Senior Night.  The recognition of seniors will take place between the JV and varsity matches.

LHS vollyeball improves to 4-0 in the LEL

Lorain High varsity volleyball defeated Bedford yesterday in 3 sets by scores of 25-18, 25-7 and 25-15. Leaders were Jenee Harrison and Alyiah Thomas with 7 kills a piece, Arianna Washington with 9 aces, Ta’lia Harris with 24 digs, Julissa Williams with 23 digs, Arianna Washington with 28 assists, and Alyiah Thomas with 2 blocks.

LHS Alumni Volleyball Game Thurs, Aug 8

The 2nd annual “Loretta’s Giving Heart” Lorain High Alumni Volleyball Game is scheduled for August 8, 2019 at 6pm in the Lorain High gymnasium.  Admission is $4.  This year’s game will be played in honor of Melanie Williams.  The Williams family has selected The Blessing House as the spotlight charity.
