Tyshawn Lighty recognized by Lorain Sports Hall of Fame

Lorain High senior football standout Tyshawn Lighty was recognized by the Lorain Sports Hall of Fame during Tuesday’s varsity basketball game for being named All-Ohio by the associated press.  Tyshawn had an incredible career at Lorain High and will be continuing his football career collegiately at Notre Dame College.

Daylin Dower verbally committs!

Senior football standout Daylin Dower has verbally committed to continuing his academic and athletic career at Notre Dame College.  He will join teammate Tyshawn Lighty as a member of the Falcons football team. LHS alum Josh Fenn recognized

Former Lorain High standout football player Josh Fenn was recently recognized by the University of Toledo as the “Rocket of the Week”.  This award was earned based on his performance in the classroom, during training sessions and being active in the community.  Josh is 6’4″, 320 lb Offensive Lineman.  During his junior year, he played

Jordan Jackson verbally committs!

Lorain High senior Jordan Jackson has verbally committed to continue his academic and athletic career at Urbana University.  He will play both football and basketball.   Jordan is a 3-year letter winner in both football and basketball.  As a sophomore, he was a major contributor in the basketball team’s run to the OHSAA Final 4.

LHS Football player meeting

All Lorain High students that are interested in playing football next season are invited to a player meeting this Friday, January 17 after school in the Lorain High cafeteria. Students will have an opportunity to meet the new head coach, enjoy a free dinner and stay for the basketball games against St. Edward High School
