Freshman Julissa Williams is the first Titan to punch her ticket to the Regional Tournament on the first day of the OHSAA District Track and Field Championships

May 16 – Amherst, Ohio – Freshman Julissa Williams finished 3rd and earned 6 points for the Lorain Titans in an extremely competitive High Jump at the District Championships in Amherst. The Titans finally get the kind of weather that Track and Field is best suited for and respond with big time performances at the Lake Erie League Championship meet. The Girls team finishes 4 points out of 3rd place with 111 points and the boys finish 5th with 52 points.

This week’s Lorain City Schools Student-Athlete of the Week is freshmen track athlete Julissa Williams.  Julissa won the High Jump and 300 hurdles and was a member of the 1st place 4 x 100 relay team at Lorain High’s Tri Meet with Maple Heights and Warresnville Heights.  Her 1st place finish in the High Jump
