On Wednesday May 8th, the Lorain Titans JV baseball team played their best game of the year defensively as they were perfect and did not commit a single error in the ballgame. Pitcher Richard Morales did make things easy on his defense as he was downright dominant. Morales went the distance in a complete game shutout. He scattered five hits while striking out 11 Rocky River batters without walking anyone. It is the first clean game for the Titans JV being that they did walk a batter or commit an error. Offensively it was a group effort for the Titans as seven out of nine batters collected basehits. Jose Rivera and Jessiel Hidalgo both stayed hot picking up two hits apiece. The JV Titans evened their record at 8-8. They are next scheduled to play Monday May 13th at 4:30 at home vs Buckeye. Come out and support your Titans.
