LHS Cheer has great experience at Ashland University

The Lorain High Titan Cheerleaders are back from the Ashland University Cheer Camp, and the team finished strong! Southview Football Schedule Change

Southview 7th & 8th grade football will start up on August 5, instead of August 12 as previously announced. Teams will practice from 3:45 to 5:45 p.m. (Monday through Friday) on the field next to the school. Wear cleats or athletic shoes and comfortable clothing for practice.

UPDATED Longfellow Volleyball Open Gym/ Tryout Times

Open gyms for 7th and 8th grade Longfellow volleyball players will be held on July 30, August 1 – 2 and August 5 from 3 to 5 p.m. at the school gymnasium. Tryouts will take place for both grades on August 6 – 8 from 3 to 5 p.m.

Congratulations to the 2019 Jim Popiel Foundation Scholarship Recipients

This year the Jim Popiel Foundation awarded 3 deserving athletes $1,500 each!  Their accomplishments throughout their high school careers have left a positive impact on both the athletic program and entire Lorain community.  We are very proud of each of them and wish them the best of luck moving forward.

JV Football Camp Monday, July 29 from 4:00-6:00

Lorain High will be holding a Junior Varsity football camp on Monday, July 29 from 4:00-6:00 at the stadium.  This camp is open to all sophomores and juniors that plan on playing football this season.

Devone Grant makes OHSAA record book

Lorain High graduate, and current freshmen at Miami University, Devone Grant was recently recognized for his accomplishments this past season by entering the OHSAA record books.  Devone is now included among a handful of Ohio basketball players for the following accomplishments during the 2018-19 season: Most Three-Point Field Goals Made, Season – 96 Highest Three-Point
