The 2020 recipients of the Lorain Sports Hall of Fame Uland Scholarships are Joe Vaughn and Talia Harris.
The Lorain Sports Hall of Fame selects an outstanding male and female athlete from Lorain High School and Clearview High School each year. These individuals are traditionally recognized at the Annual Enshrinement Banquet however this year’s banquet had to be postponed. As a result, rather than have an overall winner, the decision was made to award each individual a $750 scholarship. The selection process for this scholarship is based upon a combination of demonstrated excellence in athletics, academics, leadership and community service.
Joe Vaughn earned 4 varsity letters as a member of the track team. During his high school career, he also participated in basketball and football.
