Lorain Sports Hall of Fame Enshrinement Banquet – May 9, 2020

The Lorain Sports Hall of Fame proudly announces its 51st Annual Enshrinement Banquet scheduled for May 9, 2020 at German’s Villa.  The banquet starts with a social hour at 5 p.m. followed by dinner and the enshrinement ceremony.  Tickets are $30 each.  To purchase tickets, a patron ad or program advertisement click on the below:

LHS Baseball and Softball Tryouts

Lorain High softball tryouts begin this Monday, February 24 in the gym from 4:30 – 6:30.  This includes all grades and positions. Baseball tryouts for just pitchers and catchers will start this Monday, February 24.  Players in grades 9-10 will tryout from 6:15-8:00 and those in grades 11-12 will go from 7:45-9:15.  Tryouts for position

LHS track season starts Monday!

Lorain High track season will officially start next week.  The first day of tryouts is this Monday, February 24th from 3-5 at Lorain High School.  Those athletes that are still participating in a winter sport can begin after their season is over. Please be reminded that all athletes must be registered in Final Forms.  If

Tyshawn Lighty recognized by Lorain Sports Hall of Fame

Lorain High senior football standout Tyshawn Lighty was recognized by the Lorain Sports Hall of Fame during Tuesday’s varsity basketball game for being named All-Ohio by the associated press.  Tyshawn had an incredible career at Lorain High and will be continuing his football career collegiately at Notre Dame College.

Lady Titans play Westlake TONIGHT in the OHSAA Sectional Championship

Lorain High will travel to Westlake tonight to play the Demons in the OHSAA girls basketball Sectional Championship.  Tipoff is set for 7pm.  This is an OHSAA sponsored tournament game so no passes will be accepted.  Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students.  Please come out and support the Lady Titans!
